Day 1: Arrive in Darwin

Arrive in Darwin, pick up your rental vehicle and settle into your accommodation. Depending on what time you arrive take the time to explore modern Darwin and its' surrounds including Stokes Hill Wharf, Cullen Bay & The Botanic Gardens. Your Travel pack includes specific information and recommendations so you can choose the attractions and therefore spend the day doing the things that most interest you.

Day 2 : Darwin to Kakadu National Park

Travel the 260 km from Darwin to Jabiru along the Arnhem Hwy, stopping at Fogg Conservation Reserve & Window on the Wetlands Visitors Centre. Along the way stop off at the Adelaide River for a a famous Jumping Croc Cruise. After entering Kakadu head out to the picturesque East Alligator River to explore the nearby escarpment via the dedicated bushwalks and discover the aboriginal rock art at Ubirr Rock. At Ubirr you have the opportunity to watch the incredible sunset over the Wetlands. (Bus Groups not allowed at Ubirr for sunset) Return to the Croc Hotel where you will spend the night.Your Travel pack includes specific information and recommendations so you can choose the attractions and therefore spend the day doing the things that most interest you.

Day 3: Explore Kakadu National Park:

Today offers you the opportunity to explore the north section of the park including a 1/2 hour scenic flight. Explore the rock art around Nourlangie and the award winning Bowali Visitor Centre before heading south to Cooinda and a 1.5hr Yellow Water Cruise. Accommodation at Cooinda. Your Travel pack includes specific information and recommendations so you can choose the attractions and therefore spend the day doing the things that most interest you.

Day 4: Explore Kakadu National Park:

Your package includes a guided day trip into Jim Jim & Twin Falls to view what are arguably the most spectacular and photographed falls in the region. Alternatively take a guided cultural tour into Arnhemland. The Arnhemland option takes you to areas that have restricted access to the general public and some of the best Rock Art in the region.(extra cost refer below) Your Travel pack includes specific information and recommendations so you can choose the attractions and therefore spend the day doing the things that most interest you.

Day 5: Kakadu to Darwin

A casual day travelling back towards Darwin. Offers you an opportunity to visit any of the attractions in the Park you may have missed and are interested in exploring. Feel free to explore the southern section of the park. Ample opportunity to visit the Warradjun Culture Centre and explore the Yirmikmik and Gunlom Falls Region. Your Travel pack includes specific information and recommendations so you can choose the attractions and therefore spend the day doing the things that most interest you.

Day 6: Free Day in Darwin

A free day to relax or explore more of Darwins' highlights depending on what time and how you are leaving Darwin. Recommended attractions include the Botanic Gardens, Indo Pacific Marine, the Pearling Exhibition, Stokes Hill Wharf, Fannie Bay Gaol, the Museum featuring the Cyclone Tracy Exhibition, Art Gallery and the East Point Military Museum. (Package Price assumes vehicle will be returned at the same time as picked up on Day 1).
